Heidi and Mark’s Engagement Sesion (phila wedding photographer)

I just love engagement sessions because my couples are always so much fun and it’s so nice to work with them before the wedding day.  Heidi and Mark were great and super easy to work with….I even think Mark had fun!!! I am so excited for this wedding. Heidi was telling me all about the details and it’s going to be a very unique day.  Here are so of my favorites…..Heidi looks beautiful and Mark really rocked it! Enjoy

The “D” Family {phila photographer}

I love when clients  have me take their family pictures each year.  It’s great seeing the families grow and being able to capture it for them. The “D” family is just straight up crazy but so filled with love.  We had a mini session and we lucked out with a beautiful day.  When I arrived and saw the girls’ outfit I was in love….how cute are they! And Miss “G” ‘s hair is adorable.  This was a quick session but I love the images we captured. enjoy!

A Simple Wedding at the Ritz Calton (phila weddding photographer)

 I know when thinking about the Ritz people don’t normally think simple. But this wedding was  small and very personal and very beautiful.  I will admit that I was pretty nervous to shoot this wedding.  I have lived in Philadelphia for many years but I do not “know” the city that well. I mean I can get to places but I can not connect them. So going to this wedding by myself made me nervous.  The funny part is that I have ran many Broad Street runs and never realized that in the race we actually run right by the Ritz.

It was a perfect day for a wedding with beautiful weather.  MaryBeth and Dan did a first look in the lobby and it was super sweet. Then we ventured outside for shots and this was my favorite part of the day.  We were brave enough to stand in the middle of Broad Street while people yelled at us as they drove by (they yelled nice things) And then Dan surprised us and asked if we wanted to go to “LOVE” park.  I was so excited!!! No one ever asks me to keep taking pictures…..it’s always are we done?  MaryBeth and Dan were awesome to work with and rocked the images!!  After this MaryBeth and Dan had a lovely ceremony followed by a super fun reception. Here are a few images of the day. Enjoy.

The First Look {phila wedding photographer}

I absolutely love shooting first looks.  MaryBeth and Dan decided to have a first look before their wedding and it was awesome.  They got married at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia and it was beautiful. We arranged to have MaryBeth come down a beautiful staircase and have Dan waiting for her.  It was really the only moment the entire day that it was just the two of them (and me lol)…. It was such a special time and I am so glad I was able to capture it.  Enjoy

The “G” Family

One of the best things about being a photographer is meeting up with old friends. Julie and I went to Chestnut Hill College together and even lived in the same hall.  It was great meeting her super cute family and even her extended family.  We decided to do the shoot at CHC and it brought back such great memories.   We actually had a sunny March day.  This was my first family shoot of the year…..so I decided to start with a  small, calm group.lol.  I have a wonderful time and I love capturing families together.
