Snowy Wedding in March

So I remember the day I booked this wedding last year. I was so excited and I posted on Facebook that I have a beautiful wedding with a beautiful bride and asked everyone to pray for beautiful weather.  Well, a snow storm the entire day was not what I was considering as beautiful.  But after I uploaded my images to my computer I have decided that snow isn’t all that bad.  Keven and Shawn were so awesome and were up to having some portraits outside. It was cold so we didn’t have a lot of time.  It was such a beautiful wedding with an Irish feel.  I felt very lucky to be able to capture their special day.  I am sure Keven and Shawn are both lucky in love.

My daughter in the early morning

While we were on vacation my daughter agreed to do an early morning session with me. Unfortunately, she wasn’t feeling very well towards the end of the trip.  The day of this session we took her to the ER for her stomach pains.  Poor little thing. It turned out to be a virus that is still running through my house.  Since “C” wasn’t feeling well the expression she gave me most of the time was sad.  So I decided to do the session in black and white.  My husband tells me I use too much black and white but I seem to like the feel of that right now.

Our February Vacation

My family was lucky again this year to take a vacation in February.  We flew (big deal) to Florida and spent some time at Disney and some time at Grammy and Pop-pop’s place.  I feel that we are very blessed to be able to create these memories….I just believe life is short and I want my children to remember these times.  Here are a few of my favorites from the trip.

A beautiful winter wedding

Kim and Dave chose to have a beautiful winter wedding.  There was even a snow storm that gave us some pretty backdrops for their special day.    Kim and Dave were super relaxed and extremely happy.  I keep joking with them that I was more nervous than they were.  Since it was such a cold, windy day I was only able to convince Kim to give me 10 minutes outside…..and that included the 3 minutes she went inside to warm up!..lol.  I think she was super brave to go outside because her wedding dress was not very warm.  But both Kim and Dave rocked the pictures outside and I love them. Here are a few from the day….enjoy!
