Week 3 of summer and I was able to get a session with my daughter and her friend. They are wearing their dance costumes. I actually love their costumes this year and really wanted to do a session with more than 1 ballerina. We got these images before the storm rolled in so we had some dark skies but I love that look. Here are some of my favorite images. Enjoy!
Week 2 of summer and I had my kids out for another photo shoot. My kids don’t love being in front of the camera but my goal this summer is to get a session with my kids each week. So I had to pay them this week. I’ll do whatever works. My goal for this week was to just get 1 good image of all of them together. And I really love the first 2 images and am thinking on turning them into canvases…I think I am addictive to canvases:) So here are some favorites…enjoy!
I am so happy that it is finally summer. Kids are home with no homework to do, just lazy days of summer ahead….well I can wish. But in honestly we are trying to not be as busy as we usually are. We plan to do a few camps, a family vacation and many days just chilling in the pool. And don’t tell the kids I also plan to do a lot of session with my kids. My goal is at least 1 a week. I have so many ideas that I want to try and hope I can trick my kids to cooperate with me..lol. So for my first session I took “G” out to get his pictures with his First Holy Communion outfit on. “G” was a little rusty with being a model. He doesn’t get as much practice as his younger sister because he lucks out and goes to school. But I did capture so cute shots and even found a new favorite image….the black and white one. Here are some of my favorites…..enjoy! So my favorite part of the wedding is when I get time to take images of just the bride and groom. I could do it for hours but the grooms always want to go to the reception and have a good time. geez! So I am learning how to move quickly. Heidi and Mark’s reception was so much fun I really wish I was a guest. It was decorated super cool, there was a photo booth and even an ice cream truck! Everyone had a good time and I have the pictures to prove it! Here are some of my favorite images. Enjoy!
When I met Heidi many months ago and she told me her wedding was planned for June and the reception was outside all I was thinking please no rain! Well I didn’t think it was going to be a super hot day.lol. At one point I actually thought my camera might melt :) Heidi and Mark might be the nicest couple I know. They are so sweet to everyone and they have a ton of fun friends. Heidi’s wedding had so many unique details. I think my favorite detail was the charms that she carried in her bouquet. I had such a great time photographing Heidi as she was getting ready. Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!
